Va has the best of both worlds if you want to live in a city you can live in areas like Richmond and Arlington. You can also live out in the middle of nowhere like areas in the Appalachian or Harrisonburg.

I understand that JMU is a PWI but I think it not only suffers in the diversity of race but diversity in mentality.
