I believe the reason why Sudanese men have so much built up anger towards Sudanese women (ex. the recent violence we’ve seen against Sudanese women based on how they’re dressed) is because of the misogyny instilled not only from their fathers but also their mothers who see women as competition rather than actual human beings.

  Yes! I really hope that our generation of Sudanese men breaks the curse because many Sudani women feel as if they can’t align with their culture because of the misogyny.
