Most Africans I know use faith to ignore their children’s mental health state, only if it’s negative though. Cannot tell you how many times my mom has told me just to pray and I have nothing to be depressed for, she should be the one that’s depressed. Sometimes I just need someone to talk to, not to attempt to pray away my problems.

I very much agree with this post! Can you imagine a snake eating millions of Naira?? I would say Nigeria’s political climate l has gotten better and worse. My parents moved me from nigeria because of this very reason. So far each President I have been aware of, have been useless. I’d like to know what is really going on with SARS. As a Nigerian abroad, Im not always sure about what’s actually happening there. I wanna know, did SARS really end? Or was the power just transferred to another police unit? Are young Nigerians still being profiled by police in Nigeria?
