Everything that’s going on in the Tigray regions of Ethiopia are straight up cruel and needs to be given more attention. My family is from Ethiopia and I have a cousin who was caught up in the middle of everything a few months back while trying to get an education. My family didn’t hear anything from him at one point for 3 days. After leaving the hostile area he was at, him and a group of classmates didn’t have any food, cell phones were broken, and had to walk to a nearby city which took them 3 days. He said the initial area he was in had terrible conditions. According to him the grounds were covered in dead bodies and they had to tip toe their way through a bunch of corpses. Thank god he turned out fine but hearing about everything else is so sad, I hope the genocide will come to an end sooner than later.
